Quintessential Bed and Breakfasts
National Wool Museum

Wool was historically the most important industry in Wales and one tiny village in Carmarthenshire was even dubbed the 'Huddersfield of Wales' because of its contribution to the trade.

Drefach Felindre in the Teifi Valley was the centre of a thriving Welsh woollen industry, turning out blankets, bedcovers, shawls and socks to sell locally and all over the world.

Today a new and exciting museum pays tribute to the textile trade. Visit the restored listed mill buildings and historic machinery and see brand new features such as the glass roofed courtyard.
