For four days, the magnificent mediaeval Cathedral in Ely will provide the perfect setting for the East of England's largest flower festival.
With the theme 'In the Beginning' the Cathedral's interior will be transformed into a mass of flowers depicting the Creation with displays representing the land, sea, sun, moon and the creatures of the land, sea and air.
A 'river' of water and flowers will snake down the Nave, culminating in a large display under Ely Cathedral's famous Octagon Tower where wrought iron screens on the floor around the octagon with be covered in flowers, mirrored by suspended screens hanging above.
