The Velodrome and Olympic Cauldron in London's Olympic Park, the brand new Routemaster bus, the rolling bridge at Paddington Basin… just some of the amazing creations designed by the Heatherwick Studio.
This first major retrospective at the V&A showcases the huge array of projects worked on by the Studio in the last two decades. Exhibits include prototypes, models, items of inspiration and finished pieces.
Thomas Heatherwick is acknowledged as one of Britain's most exciting creative practitioners. He founded the Heatherwick Studio in 1994, dedicated to creating three-dimensional forms.
Heatherwick has since created works all over the world and has received several awards including the Prince Philip Designers Prize and the London Design Medal.
