'When we bought the house, the only thing inside it was the wisteria', said Emma. A Grade 2* house dating back to the 14th Century, perched on the banks of the river, was no easy option for a family with four young children.
Six years later, Dauntsey Park House is restored, a 5 tonne archimedes screw has been installed in the river to provide all its electricity requirements, and Emma now offers quite the most extraordinarily beautiful luxury bed and breakfast home. Combining many elements of its historic architectural past and a fascinating collection of more modern art and artefacts, including Murano glass chandeliers which formerly hung in the Cafe Royal, guests will gain a fascinating insight into a unique country house.
Perfect for Malmesbury, Tetbury, Cirencester and the gorgeous houses and gardens of the South Cotswolds, Dauntsey Park House is also a perfect base for exploring the wonders of Avebury, the lovely Wiltshire town of Malmesbury and the famous City of Bath.
We are delighted to welcome Dauntsey Park House, another truly Quintessential Bed and Breakfast.
