An early 18th Century former post office, The Old Post Office offers luxury bed and breakfast in a beautiful and peaceful home, nestled in the enchanting village of Adlestrop, set in the heart of the North Cotswolds in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Old Post Office combines the essence of Cotswold charm with all the comforts of contemporary living.
A racing village, Adlestrop has a lovely church dating back to the 13th century, its very own poem by the famous war poet, Edward Thomas, and a literary connection with Jane Austen. The Old Post Office is perfectly located within easy reach of many historic towns – Oxford, Stratford upon Avon, Cheltenham and Cirencester – and a wealth of noteworthy houses and gardens. And for those who cannot resist a little bit of weekend retail therapy, Daylesford Organics is but a mere 20 minute stroll away.
After many years working in London, Christopher and Nicola spent a fascinating year in Sri Lanka, where they also have a home, before moving to the Cotswolds in 2004. Working from home, Chris and Nicola love nothing more than to welcome guests into their much loved Old Post Office.
